Third Street Eyecare’s new Optometrist is Dr. Ashlyn Ward. Dr. Ward graduated from Southern College of Optometry in 2018 with her doctorate of optometry degree. Previously, she attended Taylor University (Indiana) where she majored in Biology-Pre medicine and was also a 4-year letter winner in Volleyball.
Dr. Ward now resides in St. Charles with her husband, Tom and their daughter Raelyn, born in September 2020. She grew up in the suburbs of Des Moines and has lived in the tri-cities since 2018. Her husband was raised in Geneva and works for Chapelstreet Church as the Pastor of High School ministry. They love being a part of the community and Dr. Ward enjoys working in a place that has a history of great patient care and compassion for the community.
Dr. Ward loves what she does and working with the existing staff is committed to providing each patient who walks into Third Street Eyecare with the highest quality eye exam, eyeglasses or contacts.
